Who am I, and what is this site?
I’m Tie Dye Jesus, and I make and give away tie dye shirts. This site is to document all the shirts I’ve made and to provide folks like you a way to request your very own TDJ shirt.
FAQs
Why are you giving shirts away?
There are a few reasons for my supposed madness:
- I want to make the world a little bit brighter. How much vibrant stuff do you see actually anymore?
- I don’t want to turn this hobby into a job. If I start worrying about this as a side hustle, the joy of making something is going to go dull, or worse, become stressful.
Can I pay you anyway?
Not currently. I might open a donation link or something at some time in the future if enough folks want to. If I do, any donations would go towards supplies (both shirt making and shipping) and web-hosting costs ONLY.
How long for me to get my free shirt?
Since I don’t want this to become a job, I will be making shirts at my own pace and when inspiration strikes. As such, it’s a bit of a guessing game, but I try to make a few shirts every weekend if I can. Keep an eye on your email for the address you provided in your request, because I will be sending tracking information when your shirt ships.
Where can I request my free shirt?
If this page is up, then fill out the form! Otherwise, I have my queue full and will be opening it back up at sometime in the future. Check back in a few weeks.
The form page is down! Can I get on an email waitlist?
I might try to set up an email waitlist in the future, but currently there isn’t one. Just check back occasionally to see if you submit a request.
Why are you called Tie Dye Jesus?
Well, I make tie dye shirts, and I’ve got the long hair and beard of a certain biblical figure. It’s not that deep.
